Terms and Conditions – ProCore Engineering

The following terms and conditions apply to all projects undertaken by ProCore Engineering. By accepting a quotation and engaging our services, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

  1. ProCore Engineering will invoice the client upon completion of each project stage as outlined in the quotation. Full payment is required within 14 days of receiving a tax invoice and upon completion of the project drawings.

  2. Any additional work not included in the original quotation—such as variations, additional design, drafting, consulting services, or site visits—will be billed at ProCore Engineering’s standard hourly variation rate.

  3. If the project duration, scope of work, or design is extended by the client for any reason, a reasonable extension of time will be granted. Additional costs incurred will be charged at our standard hourly rate, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to the commencement of the extended work.

  4. Projects that include a Preliminary Design Service allow for two rounds of design amendments unless stated otherwise. These changes must align with the original project brief and are intended for minor revisions. A complete design change or new design option can be provided at our standard design rate, billed hourly.

  5. Design changes are permitted only during the Preliminary Design or Design Consultation phases. Any changes requested after these phases have been signed off and drawings have progressed will incur additional charges.

  6. ProCore Engineering can submit drawings for RPEQ certification at the client’s request. All certification costs will be passed onto the client unless stated otherwise in the quotation. An additional nominal fee may apply for this service.

  7. ProCore Engineering shall not be held liable for any losses or damages to the extent that they result from the actions or omissions of the client or third parties outside of ProCore Engineering’s control.

  8. While ProCore Engineering strives to deliver high-quality drawings on schedule and suitable for lodgement or RPEQ approvals, we cannot guarantee error-free outputs or on-time delivery in cases of unforeseen circumstances.

  9. Full payment is required within 14 days of drawing completion, regardless of whether the client chooses to use or lodge the drawings. Drawings will only be released once full payment has been received.

  10. ProCore Engineering reserves the right to subcontract any part of the services without prior written consent from the client, if deemed necessary for timely project delivery.

  11. Orders confirmed in writing cannot be cancelled or amended without ProCore Engineering’s prior written consent. Any approved cancellation or amendment must indemnify ProCore Engineering for any resulting losses.

  12. ProCore Engineering will not be liable under any circumstances for indirect, special, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of contracts, goodwill, reputation, profits, or any other benefit, whether arising from breach of contract, negligence, or otherwise.

  13. ProCore Engineering shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to war, strikes, lockouts, fire, floods, government restrictions, material or labor shortages, or acts of God.

  14. ProCore Engineering may cancel any outstanding order if the client has overdue payments on previously delivered work.

  15. In the event of late payment, ProCore Engineering reserves the right to charge interest at 12% per annum on outstanding amounts, calculated daily. Any unpaid interest at the end of each month will be capitalized.

  16. If the client believes that the goods or services are defective or non-compliant with the contract, they must notify ProCore Engineering in writing immediately with full details. ProCore Engineering reserves the right to inspect and, if appropriate, rectify the issue(s) through repair, replacement, or other means.

  17. If the client terminates the project before completion of any quoted stages, ProCore Engineering reserves the right to invoice for all hours worked up to the point of termination.

If you have any questions or concerns about the above terms and conditions, we welcome the opportunity to discuss them further.
